Frequently Asked Questions

Do we need pottery experience?

No. Our hens pottery parties are designed for beginners. We'll demonstrate what you need to know and guide you through the process.

Is pottery suitable for older family members?

Yes. One of the advantages of a beginner-friendly pottery workshop is that people of different ages and backgrounds can participate in the same activity.

Can we bring our own drinks?

Yes, our BYO option allows your group to bring drinks and nibbles.

Can everyone make their own piece?

Yes. Your group can create individual pieces, and there are also options for creating pieces connected to the bride or a shared theme.

Can we choose a color or theme?

We can work with your group's ideas. We've had brides choose colors and suggest themes while allowing each guest to create their own interpretation.

What happens to our pottery after the party?

Your pieces go through the appropriate pottery finishing and firing process so they can become finished ceramic pieces for you to keep.

Do we have to be artistic?

Absolutely not.

In fact, seeing what people create when they arrive thinking "I'm not creative" is one of our favorite parts of teaching.
